The gaming benchmark the 9800X3D was measured against. First-gen 3D V-Cache adds 96MB of L3 under eight Zen 4 cores, flattening frametimes in cache-hungry games at a 120W ceiling. Still excellent for a pure gaming build. The catch is that the stacked cache limits overclocking, which the 9800X3D fixes while pulling ahead.

You cannot really overclock the cores like the 9800X3D, so tuning is limited to PBO and curve optimizer. Still a fantastic gaming chip.

Technically it has Radeon graphics but do not expect much. Get a discrete card. Gaming performance itself is exactly as advertised.

Cache die does the heavy lifting in MSFS and Tarkov. Frametime graph is a flat line now where my old 5800X spiked constantly.
