Overview

Six P-cores and eight E-cores, unlocked, at a 5.3GHz boost, a small clock bump over the well-liked 13600K. Twenty threads on LGA1700 cover gaming and mid-weight content work. The generational gain is marginal, so pick this or the 13600K on price, and keep a capable cooler for the 125W-plus turbo.

Fine but the platform is a dead end

Performance is solid, no complaints there. Just be aware LGA1700 is end of line, so no future CPU upgrade like AM5 offers.

Good chip, needs a real cooler

At 125W base it climbs fast under load, so I run it on a 240 AIO. Gaming temps are fine, all-core touches high 80s.

Strong midrange once you cap the power

Set the board to Intel defaults and it behaves. Six P-cores and eight E-cores handle streaming plus gaming without stutter.

Reused my DDR4 and saved money

Went with a B760 DDR4 board and the 14600K still flies for 1440p. The E-cores help a lot when I have a dozen Chrome windows open.
