About this unit
The 64C is the restyled Commodore 64: same 6510, same VIC-II, same SID that half of chiptune still worships, in the cost-reduced later case. It is the best-selling computer model in history for good reasons, and it still boots straight to BASIC. For someone who wants the actual machine, not a clone board in a reproduction shell.
Condition
Grade B: honest wear over sound electronics. The later off-white case has even tone with a few disclosed scuffs; all keys are present and springy. The capacitors tested in-spec, so no unrequested recap was done, and a modern fused PSU ships instead of the original brick. It boots to READY, passes a dead-test cartridge, and the SID audio is clean.

Forensic notes
Provenance
US-market 64C, second owner, on the later cost-reduced (short) motherboard. The serial label is intact and the board matches the case.
Recap & restoration
No full recap performed: the electrolytics tested in-spec, so nothing was replaced for its own sake. The unit was cleaned, the fragile power connector inspected, and a modern fused replacement PSU is included in place of the original brick that kills these boards.
Forensic notes
20 photographs and a dead-test cartridge pass are on file. Boots to READY, all 64 KB test clean, and the SID plays. The later off-white case has even tone with a few honest scuffs, disclosed.
